By holding the intention of peace towards water, by thinking, speaking, and acting with the intention of peace towards water, water can and will bring peace to our bodies and to the world.
— Dr. Masaru Emoto

Humanity’s deepest prayers have been made over water, and from these waters, our deepest prayers have been heard and answered. In this age when all peoples must unite as one to survive, we need to create public grounds that bring honor and intention to our precious and limited resource.

The Water for Peace Park project is an offering to the city of Santa Fe, to invite all people to the water’s edge to make their prayers for peace. With a fountain at its center (designed to waste as little water as possible), it offers a space for our hearts to come together in search of blessings that will spread over our land and enliven our great city with hope and health.

Water for Peace Park will be a living altar for our city, a testament to native trees and plants: medicinal, edible, floral and xeric. It will also be a showcase of landscape art, with functional forms made of wood, steel, ceramic, and stone.

This park will belong to the community and will be a collaboration of many hands from many cultures. Once complete, it will be a gathering place: a place to call people together for city events and ceremonies, and a public sanctuary with the intention of peace.

Any and all support for this community project is greatly appreciated. Donations will be accepted late summer.
